RESEARCH TOPICS:

Current research activity is focusing on various fields of basic sciences (morphology, biochemistry and molecular biology), of tissue engineering (chondrocytes, mesenchymal cells, cartilage and meniscal scaffolds), of sport traumatology and road traffic injuries. In particular, cartilage, meniscal and ligament lesions. Tendon lesions. Mininvasive techniques for osteosynthesis. Use of biotechnology and biomaterials for joint reconstruction and management of severe bone loss.
